Lorac Unzipped Palette Review

Hey buds

I thought I would review the Unzipped palette today from Lorac, it's one of my absolute favourites.

Lorac is a brand that is hugely popular on our website; they produce the most beautiful eyeshadow palettes I have ever seen. The Unzipped palette is no exception. Lorac was created by a lady named Carol Shaw, who is a celebrity makeup artist in the US. Lorac is actually Carol backwards- bet ya didn't know that!

This palette puts a complete spin on the everyday 'neutrals', by including lots of rose gold and deep plum shades that are easy to blend and incredibly versatile. There are 10 shades in total; 4 matte and 6 shimmer. The shades range for neutral highlights to deep burgundies and are soft and buttery to touch. Formulation wise, I experienced no fall out, which is quite impressive with shimmery shades. They are also highly pigmented and very buildable.

I have only identified one dupe thus far, and that's 'Unconditional', similar to 'Tease' from the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. That being said, 'Tease' is much more purpler than Unconditional, so not a complete match.  My favourite shades have to be Unbelievable and Unattainable, both shimmers. I do really like creating a smokey purple eye with Unconditional and Unbridled, and Undiscovered is the perfect party shade.

What do you think?

Love,
Rose
