Kat Von D Chrysalis Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hey buds, I'm back with another palette review, this time I'm talking about one of two brand new palettes from the incredible Kat Von D. This cool-toned palette comes in the most beautiful metallic style packaging. It's sturdy and durable, perfect for on the go or taking away.

Inside the luxe packaging are 12 shadows, 3 base/highlighter/blending shades, and 9 of what Kat herself has affectionately labeled 'transformative accent hue' shades. All 12 shadows are finely milled, full coverage and buttery soft. They are cleverly set out into trios, which is not only astheically pleasing, but it takes the guesswork out of it. You know which shades will 'go' with each other, and I love the fact that there is a blending shade to go with each look.

All the names of the shades are on the back, which is a definite thumbs up from me. There's nothing worse than a palette with no names! Not only that, but you can tell a lot of thought, time and effort has gone into them too.

So here's what you have all been waiting to see..the swatches. First of all, I need to point out that these were all created with one sweep of a shading eye brush. ONE. Amazing. Each of the shades features the incredible patented Power Last™, long-wearing formula. Meaning that they will stay on the lid, for as long as you want them to. Also worthy of a mention is the infusion of antioxidants in each shade. Don't but put off by that, it's actually the first palette I've come across that includes ingredients (Vitamins A, C and E) set to keep your eyelids hydrated. Is there anything she hasn't thought of? If you would like to see two looks I created with this palette, then stay tuned!

Love,
Rose
